London Calling!

I am writing this on the train to the airport. I fly back to Lisbon tonight. My feet have been looking forward to this train ride. They burnt up 20km throughout London today.

Let’s start by answering the question that is on everyone’s mind…. How was sleeping and a “Capsule”? Honestly it was a glorious 11 hour sleep! Maybe it was because Dublin only gave me a couple hours of sleep the night before. The fan in there kept it surprisingly fresh. If you know me well, you’ll know that’s no easy task!

I woke up about 6:30, took my time and reel rotted for a bit. Got dressed and went out for a coffee and a bite before I really started my adventure.

After that I did a small stroll to Trafalgar Square and took in the sights without a butt load of tourists. Nothing worst than tourists!!

While I was in Trafalgar Square I noticed that the national gallery is free! Free? They had me at free!! It was at that point I decided that will be my next adventure, but first a shower and check out of my room.

After that little adventure I felt it would be good to go have a 1.5 hour walk to Abbey Road. I had to! I know it’s so cliché but so be it.

After that was done I decided I needed to get closer to Big Ben. That was another long walk but I sure got closer. You have no idea how big that complex is, gigantic!

To say it’s been a day is an understatement. It has indeed been a day, a great day! I packed my day full and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Hope everyone is enjoying my little adventure log!
